The objectives of the Sarigam Industrial Association

To promote healthy growth and development of industries and to encourage friendly feelings and relations amongst the industrial community particularly of Sarigam, and thereby increasing mutual co-operation amongst those engaged in industry, trade and commerce. To adopt common policies and collectively taking such steps as may be deemed necessary to further safeguard the interests of the Industries in Sarigam Industrial Area. To consider problems and difficulties confronting the various types and categories of industries, especially small scale industries, with a view to finding out their solutions and to make representation to the concerned authorities on the same. To subscribe, to become a member of, or otherwise co-operate with any other Association, whether incorporated or not, whose objects are wholly or in part similar to those of SIA and to procure from and communicate to any such Associations, such information as may be likely to further the objects of the SIA.

To study the legislative, executive & other actions of the Union Government, State Government and also the Municipal & other local authorities affecting the particular industry or industries in general and to study their effects on the industrial development of the country and to take such action as may be deemed necessary to bring to the notice of the authorities concerned. To try and settle by arbitration commercial disputes, if any, between members of SIA, if both parties are agreeable to such a course. To invest and otherwise deal with the moneys of the SIA in such manner as may from time to time be determined by the Executive Committee and to open and operate current, fixed deposit, saving and other accounts with any bank or banks.

To receive money as donations or gifts and/or to borrow, raise or secure the payment of money or to receive money as deposit with or without interest for the purpose of the SIA, and at such time or times and in such manner as may be thought fit and as security for any such money borrowed, raised or received, to mortgage, pledge or charge the whole or any part of property of the SIA in such manner as may be expedient. To make and, from time to time, alter, amend, revoke and enforce rules and bye-laws for the benefit of and binding on the SIA and its members. To arrange, to hold conferences & exhibitions from time to time, to create awakening & to focus popular attention to matters affecting trade, commerce & industry and economic development of the country, in general.

To organize meetings, lectures, study classes & social functions in furtherance of the aims and objects of the Association. To arrange for the establishment and promotion of museums, exhibitions, industrial and commercial fairs, libraries, research institutes, quality control and analytical laboratories etc; for the use of Members of the Association in particular and for the industrial community in general.

To facilitate the development of new industries and the extension, extension and expansion of existing ones as well as to promote and sponsor Industrial Township and take such other actions as may deem fit in furtherance of these objects. To help, buy, sell, import, export, distribute and deal in raw materials, machineries, accessories, equipments and products of all types produced by or required by all industries. To engage the services of lawyers, counsels, solicitors and experts on matters of common interest to the Members of the Association.

To provide, direct and indirect assistance, advice and guidance to Member units on matters which improve good relations with workmen. To form and register a Trust/Charitable Trust to permanently manage the fixed assets of the Association specially the buildings, recreation facilities and such other amenities. To purchase, take on lease, or hire or otherwise acquire movable or immovable property or any rights or privileges necessary or convenient for the purpose of fulfilling the objects of the Association. To construct or alter or keep in repair any buildings required for any use by or for the Association and to pull down or demolish any buildings not so required. To sell, improve, manage, develop, lease, mortgage, dispose off or otherwise deal with all or any part of the property of the Association.
